That is not the potential meaning. If you say "That's the life. I don't want anything else/anymore," then people will think that you have reached a proper level of satisfaction. If you add more, then perhaps your life would be too troublesome, or maybe you'd feel weighed down. "The life" is the ideal life, not life itself.
If something is perfect/ideal, then change is considered harmful.
"这才是生活，我不奢求更多了＂潜意思就是＂这个状态我就满足了，但是如果给我更好的我将更开心＂.
"that's the life" refers to a life that is desirable. It is different from "that's life," because when you say "that's the life" you are talking about an ideal life. If I say that being a fisherman is "the life," it means that I think relaxing on a fishing boat is the perfect life.
But let's see another case. I ate too much and felt uncomfortable. I said" that's enough. i dont' want anymore". the potential meaning changes to " it will be terrible if i have more. i cannot afford it". 我吃太饱了，再也不想吃了，如果给我更多，对我来说是痛苦．
In this context, too, "I don't want anymore" means that, if something is changed/added, it will be negative.The meaning in both sentences is the same. An ideal state of life is being discussed in the first sentence, and an ideal state of satisfaction has been reached in the second.

i just neglected the meaning of " the life".igot the meaning of "thelife" should be an ideal life. what i wanted to ask was how to express if the potential words is " it will be better if i can get more"? can i say" that's life. i don't want anyting else / more"? in chinese 我不奢求更多 与我不需要更多are totally different. what about in english?
